Artist & Creator Sizing Guide
Ensure your assets look crisp and function correctly within the stage.
Our system uses a dynamic panning engine, so understanding the relationship between the Stage and your Assets is key to creating immersive collaborative theater.
1. The Stage (Viewable Area)
The stage is the "window" through which the audience sees your content. It follows a standard high-definition widescreen format.
Note: Anything placed outside these bounds on a static background will not be visible unless the camera pans.
2. Background Specifications
Never go lower, or you will see gaps at the top/bottom of the stage.
Width must be 1280px or greater to fill the stage viewport entirely.
Cinematic Panning
Backgrounds in this environment are pannable by default, allowing for wide, cinematic environments.
- To create a pannable experience, extend the width (e.g., 2560 × 720 px or 3840 × 720 px).
- The wider the image, the more room your characters have to explore!
3. Character Scaling
To maintain visual consistency and ensure characters fit naturally within the 720px stage height, use the following sizing recommendations:
| Character Type | Recommended Dimension | Why? |
|---|---|---|
| Humanoids | ~500px Height | Leaves "headroom" and floor space within the 720px stage. |
| Animals | ~500px Width | Accounts for horizontal posture (quadrupeds) to ensure they feel substantial. |
